Biography

Since completing a B.A. (Hons) Sculpture at Winchester School of Art (2000-03) and M.A. Drawing at Wimbledon School of Art, London (2004-05), practice has established interdisciplinary exchanges between archaeological excavation and phygital drawing processes (physical and digital), receiving international peer review and awards.

Artworks  propose new experiential readings of our tacit human histories with surfaces by re-mapping sites and narratives in new, abstract and unorthodox ways.

The past eleven years have been informed by field archaeology residencies in collaboration with the School of Archaeology, University of Oxford, with current studio work undergoing completion from a residency in Nesscliffe, UK.

Resulting works include digital laser drawings, excavating onto, into and through paper, extending to digital c-type prints, pencil drawing and video.
